Still tryin'

Well, I ended up with 4,640 words the day before yesterday. Today, I got it up to 6,091. I'm planning on writing more tonight, on my other system. (The one I cleverly keep protected by having a broken mod. Heh he he.) I might actually mange to get in a whole two thousand words today! =^_^= Wouldn't that be great?!
Of course, everyone else only gets two thousand on a bad day... usually more like three or four....
I suck so bad.
It's still great for me, though. It helps a lot that I really know where I'm going with the story now. I've never been the type to actually sit down and write out what's going to happen. Usually only have a general idea, but this is working much better! I might even have it done in time to go up next week! Well, that actually might be stretching it, but it would still be cool!! At least for me.
Well, back to the bump and grind. I just hope this book sells really well, considering all the effort it's taking to write it.

Raiders of Vampyra

Well, I'm still plugging away at my book. I can't believe how long it's taking! I only have it up to 4,640 so far. This story is hell bent to become longer than a short story. While that's great in a way, it also means a lot of extra work! My editor is cussing me for not getting it done this week. =(
I wrote 800 words Mon. Got in another 380 on Tues. Nothing at all on Wed. Up to 1340 so far today. I'm hoping I can get in another 400 at least, which will bring the book up to the 5,000 word mark. That's half way through a short story. I know this isn't going to be a short story, will probably be a nevella, but I believe in setting my goals low so I'll be sure to meet them. So I'm only shooting for 10,000. Really.
